I could hear the roosters crow from my hospital bed...

This is why you haven't heard much from me lately. It all started with a sinus infection about 2 weeks ago. I thought I had it under control and then coughing started. Lab results showed I needed more care and interveinous antibiotics. So I have been in the hospital for the last 2 days and nights. I am home now and feeling much better. The docs at first thought it was pnuemonia, but then downgraded to severe bronchitus and sinusitus. Very good to be back home, being without internet and computer is no fun. Neither were the every 3 hours through the night blood pressure checks and hooking me up to an inhaler.

The first morning I was there I woke to roosters crowing. Oh, did I mention that I am in Panama, Central America right now and that was my first real experience with the health care system here. It was very good. And the bill, even though it was large, was probably about what my co-pay would have been in the states.
