My Christmas Wish for you

I don't want much for Christmas, I just want the person reading this to Be happy. Friends are the fruit cake of life --- some nutty, some soaked In alcohol, some sweet but mix them together and they're my friends . At Christmas you always hear people talking about what they want & bought.

This is what I want: I want people who are sick with no cure, to be Cured. I want children with no families to be adopted. I want people to Never have to worry about food, shelter & heat. I want peace on earth, Goodwill and love for everyone!

Here is Willie Garson from Sex and the City. Everyone just LOVES him!! What a character, I am so glad we were able to actually meet him.

I remember Tippi Hedren from the Alfred Hitchcock classic, "The Birds". I was at a young age where it really stayed with me. Tippi is known now for helping animals and has a wonderful Wild Animal Preserve called "Shambala", in southern California. Here she is wearing my brand new Angel pendant that says "Watch Over Me". It really is beautiful and Tippi wants to carry our jewelry in her Shambala shop!!

Getting ready!...

In LA, preparing for days of Emmy fun are my team. Aren't they terrific! Cindy, my creative director, her daughter Tori, and best friend Di Lacey. Of course a night at a Martini Bar was in order.

What is this??

I discovered these interesting looking insect eggs on my large plant on my patio. I don't know what will come out, do you? I imagine some kind of butterfly or maybe a moth.

They are on the underside of the leaf. I discovered 3 of these "sets" on different leaves. I put one in a jar so I can see what hatches. My own little "science experiment"!

I just couldn't wait to put on the bracelet chain to show this to you! This is a Pewter bracelet in my new Earth Elements Collection. I am so excited about how beautiful they all look. On the inside of this is stamped "Make the Best Friends". A favorite saying from my sterling cuff bracelets so I decided to make it also in pewter in this new style. A new and exciting Path....For both of us..

I think we all need to try a new path every now and again. And mine is starting now. I am designing a large complete collection of new jewelry in PEWTER that is both Elegant and Affordable!! Sterling Silver is so wonderful, and close to my heart, but it is quite an investment now (literally). My new Earth Elements collection will make my words and designs available at prices where you can share the special Toby and Max "Words of Wisdom" with your friends, and also adorn yourself without having to go to the bank!!!

And they are BEAUTIFUL! I am using a special process to make my pewter look very much like my oxidized sterling! Wait till you see it. I will have new bracelets, pendants, pet tags, (for you and your pet) and some special pieces to keep with you always as keychains. I have been working diligently on this for a few months now, and I have some very amazing designs coming.

The first batch of new design pieces should be ready in 2 weeks, maybe sooner!! And a special piece for Mom on her day! But for right now I have several of my very first pewter pieces I just put on my website www.TobyandMaxJewelry.com They are some favorites I had in sterling and decided to do them in pewter so more people could enjoy. New Years Eve grocery in Panama

I spent Christmas and New Years in a small mountain town in Panama. I shopped a couple days early for a small get-together of friends but then realized I had forgotten something. So while waiting in line for about 30 minutes!! I decided to take a picture. There were more people in the store than I had ever seen before, the aisles were all crowded, but peoples spirits were good. Panamanians really enjoy the holidays, and they put on a fireworks show to be envied, which amazes me considering there isn't alot of money here. I think they must get their fireworks cheaper somehow!
