I was so happy to find SUNFLOWERS ready to plant, not cut, at the local market!! They are so bright and cheerful, and I couldn't resist the red Gerber Daisy also. Now I need to figure out what pots I have to plant in and if I even have a suitable pot. You know how that happens, you find something you really like for a really good price and when you get it home you realize that to 'complete' the project it is going to cost even more moolah! Oh well, they make me feel good and maybe at some point they will feed the birds too.

I love sunflowers too, they are my favorite flower. If you go to my pet/nature blog you'll see one I grew this year. I couldn't find a follow button but plan on signing up for your newsletter so I can keep up with your jewelry designs. I would so wear your bracelets!!

I LOVE FARMERS MARKETS! I used to take my nieces all the time to shop for sunflower and gladiolas. I almost went to the big one in Lincoln Park today (I live in Chicago) and I decided I'd just be going for the fun of it. LOL

Hi, I am here from Blog Frog also. I buy plants in the sale bin at Lowes and sometimes they look really dead but I can get them for 10 cents. Get them home and revive them and doesn't cost a lot. Pretty flowers!
